Production Supervisor

We are looking for a Night Shift Production Supervisor to join our team at our Sealy Sand & Gravel operation.  Reporting to the Plant Manager, the Night Shift Production Supervisor will oversee all plant operations, including safety, production, maintenance, and quality. This role is crucial for ensuring the efficient and compliant operation of our 1.3M ton/year sand and gravel plant.

Key Responsibilities:

·       Supervise and manage the stripping and dredging operations to meet production goals.

·       Identify and implement necessary repairs and preventative maintenance.

·       Plan and schedule plant production to maximize productivity and resource utilization.

·       Supervise and direct production crews, providing coaching and setting performance objectives.

·       Assist in optimizing the usage of existing reserves.

Essential Experience and Skills:

·       5 years of work experience in aggregate production or at least 3 years of supervisory experience in a related industry.

·       Working knowledge of overburden removal (stripping).

·       Bilingual in Spanish/English is a plus.

Preferred Experience and Skills:

·       Working knowledge of sand & gravel dredging operations/production equipment and processes.

·       Experience in both union and non-union environments.

·       Capability and desire to become a plant manager in the future.
