      The role of Plant Manager entails responsibility and accountability for the complete operation and maintenance of the new build 450TPH sand and gravel washing facility including supervision of all personnel assigned to the plant.  Further duties include all on-time, planning and scheduling of all other undertakings and activities. 

          Have a minimum 10-year sand & gravel supervisory or management experience.

       Safety and environmental stewardship is a key value.

       The Plant Manager will work closely with the EVP – E&NR to:

·         provide short and long term mine planning which is essential to success.

·         act as a contact point for the Company.

·      ensure that Company meet the requirements of the appropriate legislation in relation to MSHA Health, Safety, Environment and Commercial account management and to support the corporate business in regulatory framework adherence.

·         execute all activities, relationships, and obligations within the framework of the Business Ethics and Anti-Corruption Policies.

·         play a contributing and prominent role in the delivery of a value enhanced business.

·     contribute to the management and control of the monthly, quarterly, and annual budget reports in alignment with the Commercial and Financial function.

·       provide managerial and execution level support, counsel and guidance to the tactical and operational constituents of the businesses so as to optimize the achievement of planned objectives.

·      provide significant, tangible and active participation and contribution across all aspects of the business in relation to Health, Safety and Environmental issues.

·    drive the business forward whilst maintaining prudent control and governance related to project budgetary control. This incorporates effective operational, technical, financial, and commercial management, in alignment and collaboration with the EVP – E&NR and other corporate functional colleagues.

·      contribute to the development of new business and the maintaining/improving of existing business and contribute to enhanced and improved Supply Chain and Logistics for the Project.

·       contribute to, in consultation with the EVP – E&NR and Finance functions, all budgets and forecasts. Maintain the coherence and integrity of all commercial activity.
