Job Purpose
Reporting into the Region’s Vice President and working collaboratively with the Region’s Head of’s, the Head of Operations will perform a custodian role within CDE Group. This position will provide an integral contribution to the success of the region. The Head of Operations will assume full responsibility for the commissioning and successful handover of all CDE projects to our customers. This role will strive to bring harmony between our sales, technical engineering experts and the delivery teams to ensure our customer take ownership of a world–class solution.
Put simply you will deliver exceptional projects – delivering quality, on time and on budget, and ensuring happy customers throughout the process.
Key Responsibilities
· Our key message is ‘Home Safe Every Day’ and the Head of Operations will ensure the adherence of their team to company health & safety requirements within the region.
· Live the company values enshrined within ‘Believe it Possible, Do It Right, Elevate Each Other, Create Excitement’ ethos and proactively promote the CDE culture within the region.
· In conjunction with the regional reporting line, work in partnership with the central HQ team to uphold governance standards, and ensure consistent execution of time, cost and quality goals.
- Recruit, train, develop, motivate, and lead the team in line with our strategic vision and create a department of multi-disciplined individuals who can undertake and ensure a seamless transition from Project Realization to Lifetime Care.
- Play a key role in both ensuring an effortless handover from HQ to Region, and supporting our BD teams throughout the sales negotiation process, providing relevant guidance as required.
- Assume responsibility for the underlying operations for the region, including all facets of the region’s field operations (install, commissioning and service).
- Reporting of commissioning process to all internal key project stakeholders as well as our customer, and reporting the success of commissioning process on each project.
- Delivery of CDE Group operating objectives in terms of working with project delivery, installation, commissioning and customer care teams to ensure the ‘material on ground’ date is on track on every project.
- Provide support to retain and develop both existing and prospective customers.
- To directly handle escalated queries and issues to ensure that CDE provides a world class customer service at every touchpoint in a timely manner.
- To work for your region in conjunction with planning and project managers to have a healthy and accurate commissioning schedule/forecast.
- Ensuring reliable data acquisition from all plants – reporting key performance data, machine performance and material specifications back into relevant departments.
- The creation and management of a complete portfolio of remote commissioning guides so the expertise of our teams can be passed to their successors.
- Evaluating the strength of each project and undertaking to improve a robust commissioning process to ensure the consistency of the process for all plants.
